The GRESTlet sample application is adapted from the Wine Cellar example by Christophe Coenraets. I've had a bit of a struggle updating to a current Angular.js. Being Groovy it takes a Java Servlet Container (Tomcat) to run. Unfortunately my hoster only does LAMP. But you can download it and test yourself. The WAR container includes Groovy 2.1.1 and H2 1.3.170. The H2 database will be created automatically upon first access.
